Jordan was put into the state’s custody when he was a newborn and was blessed when he found a true home with Ingaborg McIntosh and her husband. After living in their house as a foster child for years, they were finally able to adopt Jordan into their happy family. So when Ingaborg was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease, Jordan was devastated and knew there had to be something he could do.
As Ingaborg was fighting to keep her health, Jordan was getting tested to see if his kidney would be a match to what his mom needed. By the grace of God, it was! Jordan gave his mom the good news and shared that the reason he did it was simple, saying, “Everything she’s done for me since I was a kid, I just want to give something back to her.” The kidney transfer was successful and Ingaborg is on the road to recovery thanks to her loving son.
