Dads Form Dance Crew to Support Mental Health – And They’ve Taken Over TikTok!

What started as a fun surprise for their kids has grown into a global movement.

A group of fathers from Brighton, UK, formed a dance group called The Outta Puff Daddys, originally planning just a single performance at a children’s recital.

But when the crowd erupted and kids shouted, “Wait—that’s my dad!” the dads knew they were onto something special.

Their debut was such a hit that they kept going—and now, they’re viral sensations on TikTok, spreading joy and raising awareness about mental health through high-energy dance routines.

From just a handful of dads to nearly 50 members aged 40 to 60, the group continues to grow. Their message? Positivity, support, and breaking the stigma around mental health, especially for men.

Group founder Paul “Jukebox” Jukes shared with Good News Network in 2023 that dancing helped him find strength during his struggles with depression.

The group became more than a hobby—it became a lifeline.

“We look after our physical health. Why not do the same for our mental health?” Paul said. “Having a support network makes all the difference.”

Their mission is clear: uplift others, challenge outdated views on masculinity, and build a safe space for self-expression.

And with every spin, shuffle, and synchronized move, they’re doing just that.
