Dan Bongino Criticizes Adam Schiff Ahead of FBI Appointment, Questions Legacy of Russia Investigation
Just days before being appointed as Deputy Director of the FBI, conservative commentator and former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino took aim at Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) during an episode of his popular podcast.
Revisiting the Russia Investigation
Bongino called for renewed scrutiny of the now years-old Russia collusion narrative, labeling it as a fabricated political scandal with potentially serious consequences.
“Why is Adam Schiff so worried?” he asked his listeners, urging them to revisit how the story unfolded.
“I’m going to be straight with you. I don’t want to move on,” Bongino said, expressing frustration over what he described as coordinated misinformation involving multiple institutions, including U.S. intelligence agencies and foreign governments.
A Warning for the Future
Bongino emphasized the importance of accountability, stating that the misuse of government institutions for political purposes must never happen again — regardless of party affiliation.
“Not to a Democrat. Not a Republican. Not a Libertarian. Not to any United States citizen,” he said.
Although he did not directly reference his upcoming appointment, Bongino hinted that new developments were imminent, saying, “This is going to be very important in the coming days.”
Focus on Adam Schiff
Bongino singled out Rep. Schiff, a central figure in the congressional investigations surrounding alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election, calling him the “ringmaster” of what he referred to as a politically driven narrative.
