When Elvis Presley ‘duetted’ with his daughter Lisa Marie on the song ‘Where No One Stands Alone,’ it delivered an unforgettable musical experience for fans.

Forty years after Elvis Presley’s death, his daughter Lisa Marie Presley recorded a touching duet with him, creating a moving tribute in the song “Where No One Stands Alone.”

The accompanying music video, released in 2018, featured Lisa Marie and her father seamlessly performing together, blending past and present into a powerful musical experience.

This song is part of a 2018 Elvis compilation album, which includes newly recorded instruments and backing vocals set to Elvis’s original vocal tracks, mainly from his gospel albums How Great Thou Art and He Touched Me. Tragically, in 2023, Lisa Marie passed away at the age of 54.

Reflecting on the recording process, Lisa Marie shared with ITV’s Lorraine, “I just felt really emotional. Having a good cry while singing is never fun. I had to muster up the courage to stay calm, but I felt a profound connection with both him and the song.” She further explained, “I don’t exactly communicate with [him], but I remember everything…

With this particular record, I relied on my memory, files, and occasional divine inspiration. It felt as if someone reached down and touched me.”

Following the duet’s release, Lisa Marie faced immense personal challenges, including the devastating loss of her son, Benjamin Keough, in 2020 at the age of 27.

This loss came after enduring the pain of losing her father when she was just nine years old.

In a poignant family photograph, Elvis Presley is shown with his wife and their newborn daughter, Lisa Marie.

Sadly, three months after Elvis’s passing, his grandson Benjamin was laid to rest at Graceland, marking the first funeral held there since the iconic mansion was opened to the public.
