When 7-year-olds Paige Glenn and Artyon Celestine took center stage at the Murrieta Dance Project competition, they transformed into characters straight out of a fairy tale. Despite their enchanting appearance, their dance was a contemporary masterpiece, showcasing intricate moves that captivated the audience and secured them 1st place overall.
In a brilliant choice, the youngsters portrayed Belle and the Beast from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, choreographing their routine to the timeless melody of “Tale as Old as Time.” The performance exuded a touching, lyrical quality, blending seamlessly with moments of impressive acrobatic prowess. Artyon, in particular, demonstrated remarkable strength in lifts and incredible flexibility in flips, defying his young age.
