Rose, the 3-year-old, was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. It has now spread to her lungs and requires her to have chemotherapy and radiation treatment. She will have to spend time away from home.
On garbage pick-up day, the Everson sisters, who live in Blue Earth, Minnesota, stop what they’re doing to greet the garbage truck and wave to the men. This formed a special friendship between the girls and the men.
What a precious story! We never know what others are going through, a sweet wave and a smile brought an unlikely bond and this act of kindness has gone a long way for the garbage men and the three sisters!
