Keith Urban Grants Young Fan Her Last Wish with Heartfelt Serenade

Marissa English, a 25-year-old with several serious health conditions, had a dream to see country music legend Keith Urban perform live.

Born with water and a cyst on her brain, severe scoliosis, and cerebral palsy, Marissa’s health never made it easy for her to do what she loved, but she remained determined.

She wanted to attend Keith Urban’s concert in Toledo, Ohio, and did everything she could to ensure she had the tickets.

Unfortunately, just before the concert, her health worsened, and Marissa was devastated knowing this might be her last chance to see her favorite artist.

However, Marissa’s dedicated nurses—Jan Cassidy and Laura Szyperski Biel—didn’t give up.

They reached out on social media in a last-ditch effort to get Keith’s attention.

Keith saw the messages and made a special effort to visit Marissa at Mercy Children’s Hospital.

He spent time with her, held her hand, and even sang her favorite song, “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” bringing joy and comfort in a difficult time.

Keith also dedicated his next concert to Marissa and thanked the nurses who helped make the visit possible.

Sadly, after receiving this incredible gift, Marissa passed away, but her memory lives on, and she is remembered for her courage and love for music.

Marissa’s dream came true, thanks to the kindness of those around her. It was a powerful reminder of the impact that compassion and a bit of effort can have on someone’s life.
