Meet George and Amal Clooney’s twins. Now they are six. So lovely!
George Clooney has long been regarded as one of Hollywood’s most desirable bachelors. But everything changed when the Oscar winner met and fell hard for his now-wife, Amal Clooney (née Alamuddin), a prominent human rights lawyer. Not only is George married, but he also has two children.
George and Amal married in Venice, Italy, in 2014, and their fraternal twins, Alexander and Ella, were born in June 2017. Though George has been in scores of Hollywood movies, including “Ocean’s Eleven,” “Up in the Air,” “Gravity,” and “Ticket to Paradise,” his most meaningful roles are as a husband and father.
“In marriage, and now with the kids, you give away the selfishness of only looking out for yourself,” George told People in 2020. “What a fantastic thing. Amal and I discuss it every day… We feel extremely fortunate.”
Today, it appears that George and Amal have “formed a real partnership” as parents.
On September 2, a source informed Us Weekly that they are “taking turns taking the kids to activities” and “taking turns preparing the kids’ breakfast and lunches” during their summer in Italy.
The insider also stated that the couple’s twins are “loving their summer” with their parents, adding that they “take boat rides” and “have a small group of friends in the area their age they have playdates with.”
George and Amal welcomed their baby, Alexander, on June 6, 2017.
According to GQ’s 2020 feature on his father, Alexander has “a mop of brown hair and chaotic teeth,” and “looks like the son of George and Amal Clooney.” He also speaks fluent Italian, which George jokingly called a “really dumb thing,” given that neither he nor Amal knows the language.
Ella, Alexander’s twin, was also born on June 6, 2017. Ella speaks Italian, as does her brother.
Though the twins have similar pastimes, George recently told People that his and Amal’s daughter is much shyer than her brother. “Ella is very shy around adults,” he explained.
