Military Father Gives Son The Surprise of a Lifetime at Baseball Game
Over the Fourth of July weekend, Braydon Dowell, 5, was chosen “randomly” from the crowd during the Tennessee Smokies game to participate in a “Dancing in the Dark” competition. The boy was blindfolded and started grooving to Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA.” Meanwhile, his dad stood anxiously and waited for his son to take off his blindfold.
After the music stopped, the boy took off his blindfold, spun around and found his dad — who had been deployed for 10 months — standing in front of him. The boy could barely contain his excitement and ran straight into his father’s arms. Dad scooped up his son off the ground and gave him a big hug.
