Motivational Speaker goes off Script to give “Disrespectful” Students a Reality Check
Eric Thomas, a motivational speaker who addresses people at events nationwide, stopped by Vashon High School on Feb. 22. The High School is one of the lowest performing schools in its district, according to the video.
Thomas asked the students during his speech if there was someone in the room that they love. A few students raised their arms, but there was a couple that was talking. That moment is on 3:08.
Instead of letting it go, he confronted them — a moment that took an unexpected turn and drove home an important message.
These kids got a major treat seeing such passion and wisdom pour out of this role model, and you will, too. It’s something they’ll never forget.
