Officer Notice Abandoned Toddler Crying Frantically and Comforts him in his Arms
Officer James Hurst of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department was called to a hospital when someone reported that a 16-month-old toddler was found outside without any adult supervision.
Officer Hurst arrived on the scene, and he was touched by the sight. He vowed to stay by this toddler’s side. During the initial intake medical exam, the boy began to sob uncontrollably. Officer Hurst’s fatherly instincts immediately kicked in to gear, and he held and comforted the boy until he fell asleep.
The precious moment was caught on camera, and it’s gone viral on Facebook.
