Simple Way to Remove Ice from Car Windshield
It’s bad enough that it’s so dark and cold when I wake up but the worst part has got to be knowing that you actually have to wake up a few minutes earlier than usual because you have to defrost your car’s windshields before you can do anything.
Thankfully, there’s a quick and easy solution to the problem that’s literally as easy as spritzing a spray bottle. In this video, you’ll see how a simple mixture of 2 parts rubbing alcohol to 1 part water with a spoonful of dish soap mixed in gets that ice off instantly. It’s actually kind of insane how well this works. Scientifically, alcohol has a much lower freezing point than water/ice so it makes sense that the alcohol spray would cause the ice to melt.
