There are plenty of photos capturing important moments in history. Many of these photos are famous and often viewed by the public. Other historic photos are equally as amazing but rarely seen. Here are 20 of these pictures that haven’t gotten the attention they deserve.

  3. 106-Year-Old Woman Guarding Her Home This dramatic photo was taken during the 1990 conflict known as the Nagorno-Karabakh War. The woman is holding an AK-47 to protect her home during a war where 20,000 people died.
  4. Woodstock Woodstock is the most famous music festival in history. This photo shows the huge crowd that attended the three-day, three-night event. There have been other music festivals since, but none have drawn crowds this big.
