Transformed by Cement: The Astonishing Story Behind Her Unusual Journey
A Florida woman, whose face was left disfigured after receiving illegal black market injections of cement and tire sealant, has finally undergone life-changing surgery to remove the harmful nodules that had been embedded in her skin for over a decade.
Rajee Narinesingh, a 48-year-old transgender woman from Hollywood, Florida, sought the help of renowned Los Angeles-based surgeons Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif on the E! reality series Botched.
In 2005, Rajee was among the victims of a notorious ‘toxic tush’ practitioner who performed unsafe, underground plastic surgeries using dangerous substances like Fix-a-Flat and Super Glue.
Rajee’s cheek, chin, and lip areas were filled with hard lumps, leaving her embarrassed and unwilling to seek help for years.
After years of unsuccessful treatments, Rajee turned to Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Nassif, hoping they could safely remove the nodules.
Though the doctors initially turned her away in 2015 due to the high risks involved, they reconsidered a year later. Dr. Dubrow was determined to help, though Dr. Nassif remained cautious, worried that surgery could cause further harm.
Despite the risks, Rajee’s persistence paid off when the doctors discovered that steroid treatments had helped stabilize the lumps, making surgery more feasible.
After careful planning, Rajee underwent the procedure, which aimed to minimize inflammation and avoid damaging vital nerves, muscles, and blood vessels.
In a lighter moment, Rajee joked about being “double-teamed” by the doctors, reflecting her resilient spirit despite the years of challenges.
The procedure marked a significant milestone in Rajee’s journey to recovery, with a final outcome that would help her regain confidence after over a decade of living with the effects of her misguided decision.
