Trump Blasts TIME Magazine Over ‘Worst Ever’ Photo — Despite Praise for Historic Israel-Hamas Peace Deal

Former U.S. President Donald Trump is once again making headlines — this time for both diplomacy and a magazine cover.

While the world applauds his unexpected success in brokering a historic ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, Trump is criticizing TIME Magazine for what he calls the “worst photo ever” used on its latest cover story titled “His Triumph.”

The article itself painted Trump in a surprisingly positive light, crediting him — along with Jared Kushner and special envoy Steve Witkoff – for leading the behind-the-scenes negotiations that helped bring about a breakthrough agreement.

The deal, reportedly signed in Cairo, saw over 20 world leaders, including representatives from Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, commit to steps toward lasting regional stability.

It also included the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, a key move being hailed as a major stride toward peace.

Yet, despite the international praise, Trump’s main concern was the photo on the magazine cover. Writing on Truth Social, he said:

“TIME Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time.”

He went on to criticize the image’s angle, taken from below against a bright sky, saying it made his famous blond hair “disappear.”

Trump joked that the lighting made it look like he had a “tiny floating crown” instead. “Really weird!” he added, noting that he’s never liked photos taken from that perspective.

The former president’s hair has long been a topic of public curiosity, with experts speculating about possible cosmetic work — something Trump has repeatedly denied, saying, “It’s my hair.

I don’t wear a toupee. I swear.”

Still, Trump took a moment to acknowledge TIME’s coverage of his diplomatic success, telling the BBC during the peace summit in Egypt:

“I’m good at solving wars. I’m good at making peace.”

The magazine described the ceasefire as one of the most significant achievements of Trump’s second term, potentially marking a turning point in Middle Eastern relations.

Trump’s relationship with TIME has always been complex — spanning from his first cover in 1989 to being named Person of the Year twice.

He has also openly clashed with the outlet over the years, once calling their “100 Most Influential People” list a “joke.”

Now, even as the world watches a potential new chapter of peace unfold, Trump’s blend of diplomacy, controversy, and showmanship has once again ensured that – whether it’s politics or a photograph – he remains firmly in the global spotlight.

📸 One thing’s for sure: when it comes to Trump and TIME, the headlines are never just about the story — they’re about the image too.
