Trump Caught Off Guard as Reporter’s Mic Hits His Face – His Reaction Says It All!

During a press briefing at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, former President Donald Trump was briefly caught off guard when a reporter’s boom microphone accidentally made contact with his face.

The moment, which was captured on camera, showed Trump instinctively leaning back to avoid further contact before briefly giving the reporter a sharp glance, which some described as a “death stare.”

Despite the unexpected interruption, Trump quickly lightened the mood by making a quip about the incident.

“She just made television tonight,” he joked, referring to the reporter. “She just became a big story tonight.”

His remark drew laughter from those present as he turned to someone off-camera and asked, “Did you see that?”

The incident took place a day after Trump addressed economic issues in the Oval Office, specifically discussing tariffs on Canadian imports.

During his remarks, he acknowledged that the measures could cause short-term disruptions but argued that they would ultimately benefit the U.S. economy.

“We’re spending $200 billion a year to subsidize Canada,” Trump stated. “I love Canada. I love the people of Canada.

But the United States can’t continue subsidizing another country at this level.”

He went on to suggest that Canada, as a state within the U.S., would be a “great state” with incredible resources.

“We don’t need their cars, their energy, or their lumber—we have enough of our own,” he insisted.

“There will be some disruption, but it won’t last long. Canada needs us more than we need them.”

In a lighter exchange, Trump also took a swipe at longtime critic Rosie O’Donnell, who recently moved to Ireland.

When an Irish reporter asked Prime Minister Micheál Martin about the comedian’s relocation, Trump interjected before Martin could respond.

“That’s true, I like that question,” Trump remarked. “Do you know you have Rosie O’Donnell? Do you know who she is? You’re better off not knowing.”

The press conference, initially focused on policy discussions, took an unexpectedly humorous turn with these unscripted moments.

As always, Trump’s off-the-cuff style and quick wit kept the conversation lively, leaving both reporters and spectators with plenty to talk about.
