JUST IN: Trump Breaks Silence on Assassination Attempts – ‘I’ll Be Releasing It’

Former President Donald Trump has announced plans to release detailed reports on the two assassination attempts against him during the 2024 presidential campaign.

Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump expressed frustration over the limited information available to the public and emphasized his commitment to transparency.

During a press briefing, Fox News’ Peter Doocy questioned Trump about the lack of updates regarding the July 13, 2024, attack in Pennsylvania. “It’s been seven months. Why do you think we don’t know more about the guy who shot you in the ear?” Doocy asked.

Trump responded by criticizing the delay in releasing information, stating, “He [Biden] should have released that a long time ago.

They are giving me a report next week, and I do believe I’ll be releasing it. A lot of people have been asking about it.”

The Assassination Attempts

The first attack took place at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, when 20-year-old gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire from an elevated position nearly 400 feet away. Trump was struck in the ear, one attendee lost their life, and two others were critically injured. Secret Service snipers neutralized the shooter within seconds.

A bipartisan Senate report later cited security lapses and technical failures as contributing factors.

The second attempt occurred on September 15, 2024, at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

A Secret Service agent spotted a suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, armed with a rifle and concealed in the bushes near the golf course. The agent fired, prompting Routh to flee before being captured during an attempted escape.

He has pleaded not guilty, and his preliminary trial is scheduled for September 8, 2025.

Trump Raises Questions About Suspects’ Backgrounds

Trump highlighted unusual details about both suspects, including their access to foreign technology and high-profile legal representation.

Regarding Crooks, he noted, “You had one who had three apps, two of which were foreign, and somehow, he had the biggest white-shoe law firm in Pennsylvania representing him.”

Similarly, Trump questioned why Routh possessed multiple mobile devices. “On the second assassin… he had six cell phones.

That’s a lot of cell phones. And a couple of them had some strange markings on them. So yeah, I want to find out.”

Will the Full Report Be Released?

While Trump expressed a strong desire to make the report public, he acknowledged that some information might need to remain classified for security reasons.

“I’d be willing to release it. Maybe there’s a reason we shouldn’t, so I don’t want to get too far ahead of my skis, but I’d like to see it,” he stated.

Trump’s decision to disclose details from the report is expected to reignite discussions about both incidents, particularly regarding security measures and possible political motivations.

The former president has long criticized federal agencies for a lack of transparency, and this development is likely to intensify scrutiny on the handling of these cases.
