A recent Wheel of Fortune episode delivered one of the most heartbreaking moments of the season when contestant Sam Oh came within one word of winning the $1 million Bonus Round.
The May 13 “Bragging Rights” episode featured three coworkers from the same pediatric office competing: Sam Oh, Peter Jung, and Daniel Park.

Jung wasn’t far behind — he grabbed the coveted $1 million wedge and won a Maui vacation.
By the end of the main game, Oh advanced to the Bonus Round with $28,050, and the million-dollar envelope officially in play.
His category was “Phrase.” After seeing O_T O_ _ _ C on the board, Oh hesitated on choosing his letters.
Under pressure, he eventually guessed, “Out of…?” but couldn’t complete the final word.
It was a devastating miss — and audiences felt it immediately.
Despite the loss, Oh walked away with more than $28,000, a vacation, and one of the most memorable moments of the season.
