A baby’s first Christmas is a special moment for any parent. You get to introduce them to your traditions, take pictures of them looking adorable under the tree and shower them with fun gifts. Unfortunately, it doesn’t always turn out as picture perfect as it looks on Facebook.
But can we really blame babies for not being on their best behavior during Christmas? Let’s look at it from their perspective: Glowing lights? Gotta grab ’em. Colorful ornaments? Gotta smash ’em. Perfectly wrapped presents that my parents spent a lot of time on? Gotta slobber all over ’em. When you look at it this way, it’s a miracle most parents are able to survive their baby’s first Christmas at all.
