Couple Married 80 Years And Who Turned 100 Together Pass Within Hours Of Each Other

June and Hubert, born in July 1922 in Rural Kentucky, found each other in Hamilton, Ohio. Their love story began when an invitation from their church brought them together, leading to a beautiful friendship that blossomed into marriage in 1943. Despite Hubert serving in WWII, they reunited, settling in Hamilton and building a family with three children, seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Their secret to a lasting marriage? Hubert shares that they faced challenges but never did anything to hurt each other. They believed in taking a break during conflicts and resolving issues with communication. Despite June’s challenges with strokes, their love endured, evident in their tender moments, holding hands and exchanging loving glances.

As they turned 100 together, celebrating over eight decades of shared life, their love story resembled a heartwarming movie. Their routine included dinner, old western movies, a goodnight kiss, and a commitment to never spend a day apart. In December 2022, just 20 hours apart, Hubert passed away, and June followed suit, peacefully closing her eyes to join her beloved husband in paradise. Their son expressed a mix of sadness and awe, emphasizing that their parents went out together, like the closing chapter of a beautiful love story.
