Flawless Synchronized Clog Dancing Duo Wins Grand Championship and Captivates the World!

There are many talented dancers online, from ballroom and tap to street and morris dancing, but every now and then, a performance stands out and takes you by surprise.

Lauren and Kaylee Thomas are a perfect example. These championship-winning clog dancers have wowed audiences with their incredible routines.

Clogging, as described by Ridge Runner Cloggers, is “an energetic percussive style of dance where dancers wear shoes with special taps attached,” and Lauren and Kaylee are masters of it.

Their standout moment came during the 2016 Clogging Champions of America Showdown of Champions.

The video of their performance, specifically the contemporary portion of the competition, went viral. Despite the presence of other talented dancers, Lauren and Kaylee captivated the audience with their perfectly synchronized moves, spins, and energy.

It’s easy to mistake them for twins, but Kaylee is actually two years older than Lauren.

Their matching blonde hair and identical outfits add to the illusion, but it’s their lightning-fast footwork that really sets them apart.

Lauren and Kaylee aren’t new to the spotlight. Born in Berea, Kentucky, they started clogging at a young age—Lauren at just three years old and Kaylee at five.

Their talent quickly became evident, and before long, they were sweeping local competitions and moving on to the national stage, winning the national championships an incredible fifteen times.

Although this style of clogging is unique to the United States, limiting their international competition opportunities, the sisters have built an impressive career. In addition to their championship wins, they’ve appeared on shows like Nickelodeon’s Figure It Out and the revamped Gong Show.

Despite the intense training schedule, their deep bond as sisters and shared love for dance have kept them close.

While their paths may diverge as they grow older, Lauren and Kaylee’s shared dance legacy will undoubtedly keep them connected. Their performances, including a stunning routine to a medley from The Greatest Showman, continue to thrill audiences.
