Fox News Host Delivers Unexpected On-Air Prayer: An Uplifting and Surprising Moment

In a surprising and uplifting moment, Fox News host Pete Hegseth recently led a prayer live on his show “Fox & Friends,” during a segment sponsored by a Bible app.

This unanticipated display of faith has sparked a range of reactions from viewers, with some expressing surprise and others appreciating the heartfelt gesture.

Hegseth, known for his engaging and personable style, lightened the mood with a bit of humor before transitioning to the prayer. “We have more ‘Fox & Friends’ coming up, but you know what, this is a transition for transitions if you’ve ever had one,” he quipped, eliciting laughter from his co-hosts.

Rachel Campos-Duffy joined in the playful banter, and Hegseth humorously added, “This is very ‘Fox & Friends,’ so ready your heart.”

He then introduced the prayer segment, noting, “It’s the 5th Sunday of Lent, and our prayer series continues with the Hallow app.” Hegseth invited viewers and his co-hosts, Campos-Duffy and Will Cain, to bow their heads and close their eyes as he read a heartfelt prayer from the app.

He prayed, “Jesus, today we begin the holy period of Passion Tide.

In these last two weeks of Lent, help us understand the mystery of your sacrifice and surrender, and make us keenly aware of your love for us. We ask that you reveal yourself to us and help us feel the grace of your presence.”

After concluding the prayer with gratitude for Christ’s sacrifice, Hegseth expressed thanks to the Hallow app for its partnership during Lent.

Campos-Duffy echoed the sentiment with a sincere “Amen.”

This moment of faith on Fox News isn’t unprecedented. Previously, host Kayleigh McEnany had shared her belief in divine guidance during a segment featuring Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson, while co-host Ainsley Earhardt urged viewers to pray for him, emphasizing the need for spiritual guidance in the country.
