Her brother wishes to act like her dad, but his wife disagrees.

Life is full of surprises. We never know what’s around the corner or what challenges lie ahead.

We often have to make tough decisions, even when it’s difficult and challenging.

A guy told a story about wanting to adopt his little sister after their parents died, but it caused problems with his wife.

He had to choose between his wife and sister. To find out what he did and the choice he made, read the following text.

“I’m a 28 years old guy married to my wife (28 years old) for 2 years. We don’t have kids, and we don’t want any. I have a younger sister (11 years old), and because of our age difference, I play more of a fatherly role than a brother.”

“My dad died from pancreatic cancer. Now, my sister has two choices: either she lives with me or with our uncle (Dad’s brother). We asked her, and she picked me. But here’s the issue – my wife and I don’t want kids, and she doesn’t want to adopt my sister, especially when my uncle can.”

“My sister doesn’t have parents anymore, and I want to make sure she gets better and stays healthy. She wants to stay with me, and I won’t make her go to our uncle. This is causing a lot of problems with my wife. Things got worse, and I told her I’m doing this whether she likes it or not. She can either accept it, or we get divorced. We haven’t talked since. What should I do in this situation?”

“I spoke with my wife again. She still said no because she doesn’t want kids. So, we agreed to split up. She said I’m choosing my sister over her. I said I don’t want to discuss it further, but if that’s what you want to hear, then yes, my sister is my priority now, and I’m choosing her over you.”

“We haven’t talked since. I’ve been with my sister for a week now. Being like a single dad brother is tough, but I’m actually enjoying it.”

“I split up with my wife. Now, I’m looking after my sister.
