High School Students Make a Very Powerful Video about Drinking and Driving
The chilling video, titled A Lifetime of Consequences, centers around a student whose bad decision to drink and drive after prom put him in a wheelchair and also killed his friend.
In a little less than five minutes, the video truly emphasizes the consequences that can result. It showcases what happens to those involved as well as the effect it has on their loved ones, and innocent people who simply happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
“The goal here was to demonstrate that one bad choice with alcohol can destroy lives,” Ashley told ABC 12. “I wanted something that really made people think and wonder what was happening.”
