Parents are Left in Tears when their Kids Reveal what They Really Want for Christmas
You’re at the mall in the middle of crazy holiday shopping crowds. Desperately you go store to store looking to find a gift for a kid you barely know. We’ve all been there. But what do kids really want for Christmas?
That’s what IKEA set out to find in a social experiment conducted in Spain. Ten children were brought in and asked, “What would you ask Santa for Christmas?” The children responded exactly how you would expect, asking for video games and toys. Then the question became, “What would you ask your parents?” and the responses completely changed. Sometimes it’s easy to make the holidays all about gifts, but as these children prove, there’s no greater gift than family.
