Trump Reacts With Fury After Biden Breaks Political Tradition With Bold Criticism

In a rare break from presidential norms, Joe Biden publicly criticized Donald Trump during a recent appearance in Chicago — prompting an immediate and fiery response from the former president.

Breaking the Silence

At a public event hosted by the Advocates, Counselors, and Representatives for the Disabled, Biden made headlines by directly addressing Trump’s past policies — an unusual move for a former president, as it’s generally considered a political courtesy to avoid attacking successors or predecessors.

Biden criticized proposals from Trump-era lawmakers that could have risked the future of Social Security. “They wanted to let Social Security expire every five years unless Congress approved it again,” Biden said. “Who do they think they are?”

He also took aim at Trump’s economic policies, claiming the previous administration’s tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy had caused significant damage. “This guy raised the debt ceiling last time to fund wasteful tax cuts for the super-rich,” Biden added.

Trump Fires Back

Unsurprisingly, Trump didn’t let Biden’s remarks go unanswered.

Posting on his Truth Social platform, Trump lashed out, branding Biden “the worst president in U.S. history” and blaming him for rising crime and what he called a “disastrous” open-border policy.

According to Trump, the Biden administration has allowed “millions of criminals, drug dealers, and mentally ill individuals” into the country unchecked.

“I was elected to get these killers and thugs out of here,” Trump wrote. “And that’s exactly what I’ll do. MAGA!”

In another post, Trump targeted Harvard University and former President Barack Obama, criticizing the school for what he described as an overly “woke” culture and arguing that federal funding should be cut. “Harvard is no longer a place of learning — it’s a joke spreading ignorance,” Trump stated.

A Political Feud That Shows No Signs of Slowing

As the 2024 election draws nearer, both Trump and Biden are stepping up their attacks — signaling that the political rivalry between them is far from over.

Whether Biden will respond to Trump’s latest comments remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: the gloves are off, and this battle is only getting more intense.
