Grace VanderWaal takes on Elvis Classic and within Moments Leaves Everyone Breathless

Performing a cover of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” can be either a hit or a pretty big miss. Grace VanderWaal is a 12-year-old singer-songwriter from New York. With the way that she sings and performs, you’d think she has decades’ worth of experience. It’s truly unbelievable to hear that voice come out of such a young girl.
Not only does she have a very unique singing voice, but her accompaniment of a ukulele really sets her apart from other young performers.
Even before winning America’s Got Talent, Grace VanderWaal was captivating people with her voice and ukulele. The young girl debuted her melodic talents on her own YouTube channel, broadcasting from her home.
When she was just 12, she won the 11th season of AGT, being Howie Mandel’s “golden buzzer” act. Simon Cowell called her the “next Taylor Swift.” Grace was fortunate to sign a record deal with Columbia Records following her big win, producing an album that contained her original music.
Miss VanderWaal turns an old classic into her own masterpiece. It’s not hard to tell that she connects deeply to the words she’s singing. Her voice is one of the most soothing voices I’ve ever heard, and she couldn’t have chosen a better song to cover.
