Man Builds New Home For Homeless Woman Forced To Sleep In Dirt For a Decade – Thanks For Your Kindness

In a heartwarming act of compassion, a resident in Los Angeles took remarkable steps to assist a homeless woman named Irene “Smokie” McGee, who had been living on the streets for a decade following the loss of her husband and home. Elvis Summers, a concerned neighbor, couldn’t bear to see Irene sleeping rough, so he decided to build her a tiny home.

With $500 worth of wood, donated siding and roofing, and his own building skills, Elvis constructed a safe and secure shelter for Irene in just five days.Irene described her first night in the 3.5 ft by 8 ft home as incredibly relaxing, expressing gratitude for the warmth and comfort it provided.
