Rory Feek and Daughter Indy Share a Heartwarming Father’s Day Duet

When country artist Rory Feek and his daughter, Indiana “Indy” Feek, performed a Father’s Day duet of Shel Silverstein’s “Papa Was a Pig”—a song about a father and child—the performance carried a powerful story behind it. Rory was already an established Nashville songwriter before his family life changed forever. He co-wrote Blake Shelton’s hit “Some Beach,” while his wife, Joey Feek, pursued her own country music career. The couple eventually began performing together as Joey + Rory, and in 2014 they welcomed their daughter, Indiana, who was born with Down syndrome. Two years later, Joey died from cervical cancer after a highly publicized battle with the disease.
