I love to listen various versions of some old classics that people make their own covers of. These renditions are something creative and other talented singers put a spin on the song that makes it their own. And one such example is the famous song “Sound of Silence” covered by Todd Hoffman, in the video below.
He’s hitting all the notes just perfectly, his demeanor throughout the song shows how into the performance/singing he really is, and what really catches your attention is how much he sounds like the original singer of the classic!
But we can tell that he isn’t copying the original singing style, and that makes this rendition simply beautiful and personal!
